User's Basset Shepherd

Layla (Basset Shepherd) by Jenna Pflumm:
My sweet 4 yr old female is 45lbs and short, long, floppy ears but man is she muscular! I also have an AKC German Shepherd and you can really tell she is half Shepard when they are together! She is lazier but still loves playing! I can attest to the breed being a great guard dog, see hears and smells everything. She is more curious about people, and protecting her family then most dogs!

Angel & Sandy (Basset Shepherd) by Sunny Ferrenburg:
I'M in a wheelchair and have 2 service dogs that are Basset Shepard's they are amazing and I will always try to have them mine are 10years old. Love this breed very smart very sweet. Hope that I will be able to find another one when I need to. Love Love them.

Tov (Basset Shepherd) by Dvorah :
I've got him from a rescue He was 8 weeks old and very small We thought he will be a miniature. He grow and grow. He is the sweetest dog I ever have. He is friendly with everyone humans and animals. Love walks and run. Extremely smart and I can see it every time we play.

Raelynn (Basset Shepherd) by Shea Zetwo:
Raelynn is the puppy of another comment here- Layla. She is about 8 months as of now. So Raelynn is only a quarter basset with the rest of her 75% being german shepard. She's crazy hyper, loves to play and loves to meet new people. Has a strong sense of smell. She's curious and likes to explore to the point of reaching shelves with her long basset body. She's very protective when someone poses a threat to me and learned to sit pretty quickly. She's still very stubborn with house training though. She knows to go outside but has claimed one specific spot in the house we had to block off to keep her from marking, but I'm hoping that stops by the time she is a year old. It's funny when she goes to bark some hound howls creep out. Great dog.
